What are we learning now

With reading Fahrenheit 451, I noticed that the author is constantly comparing the present in the book and what will become in the future. He compares ear buds or TVs that go across the wall. Now Clarisse mentions school on screens for hours long, well what is happening right now? The virus has us in quarantine, we are now online learning. It is weird how we read this book and the author writes about all these things we have now.
