Chapter 3, The Great Gatsby:
Nick is describing the party that is going on at Gatsby
There is a lot of alcohol hints going around
His parties didn't have invitations you just came
JAY GATSBY <-- full name
Rumor has it that gatsby killed a man or is a German Spy
Nick and Jordon go off from the dinner to look for Gatsby and find themselves in the library with a drunk man
it seemed that at the party that there was a lot of alcohol being served
Said to be served in finger bowl-sized bowls
Some from the war remember Nick, offered to take him around in a hydroplane
Gay as in happy
The man turned out to be Gatsby
Gatsby first introduced, seems very polite
Nick wants to know more about him
Nick's nickname is oldsport
Nick stayed long, after 2
After leaving a man got his car stuck in a ditch, he was the drunk same guy that was in the library
Starts talking about his past experiences with Jordan
Has or had a crush on Jordon, Jordon is a dishonest person
He says "I am one of the few honest people
that I have ever known."
He says this most likely because he is talking about his past and most likely because he knows he isn't most likely telling the truth about certain things.
