The glory of the mistake

Making a mistake isn't always the best but it does teach us something. We learn not to do what we did wrong or to not take such a risk. It also makes us see what our mistake does to others and makes us realize what a mistake can do to others.

Journal topic:

Today is April 9th, my birthday was on the 5th. It sucks that we had to be in quartine. I think we would have been in San Fransico, eating sourdough chili bowls and go to Top golf. But I am here home, with my healthy family. I am thankful that I am just able to say that. My cake was an Acai bowl, I love them. I chose to have cheeseburgers so we had a bbq. It was a good day we even stay up till 2 in the morning.

A case for war

I think the reason for this is because we can never agree with other countries and we always lean towards violence.  I think how we look does take a part of the damages because if we were saints and never caused any problems we would have never been dragged into wars. I think we go to violence because we know one will fall at the end no matter what.

Failing to plan is planning to fail

Once Faber and Montag start talking, Montag wants to make a plan against the fireman. He wants to plant books into the firemen's houses so that they can all get arrested. They are hoping afterward that since they all get in trouble that they will get rid of the law against books.

Sometimes you need a professor

I think Montag wanted to get in touch because he was curious about reading the book and didn't understand why. He knew about Faber and how he read the books so he had no one else to turn too. He wants someone to listen to him because no one will including his wife. So he goes to Faber so he can talk.

Is it just about the job

I think what Montagdfoes for his job is interesting. To think that they have come to the point where they burn books instead of putting out fires. I think I would feel bad but that is because I was born and raised in a different world so it is hard to compare. Working for me I work for the paycheck but then I started to go in to see my coworkers, mall employees, and even costumers.

This cat is curious

Curiosity to me is not based on nothing really. Like sometimes I will want to learn or chase after something totally new. Though there are times it is provoked by the similar interests of mine or others. I think the cat was so curious because it doesn't have the same knowledge and thoughts as us. SO everything interest is and too much is dangerous. Being that the cat doesn't understand it makes it more inevitable to death.

My inner happy

Well, for me I get happy when I do things like cooking, writing or spending time with the important people in my life. I think just being surround by my hobbies or interest keeps me in a good mood and makes me happy. I agree with Bradbury, sports, and food also bring happiness. People can connect with others through those two things. With the quarantine going on, I think it makes us appreciate what we have more now than ever. We are also picking up new hobbies and interests, which is nice that we can still have something to do.

An Anti-intellectualism in America

Well, slowing down thinking can make a person sad but they are realizing things about their life they did notice before. By thinking you learn plenty of things and feel many emotions, not just sadness. I think many people don't think intelligence is a superpower because they think you have to be a genius, or you have to get all A's. People just don't think they are smart enough and they see others as if they got the superpowers. Well, our school does accomplish the 3.8 or higher GPA students but you don't often hear about it because more are about sports or popular things. I think smart people are always judged or bugged because many don't understand them. They are so much smarter and those people don't know how to comprehend it.

I think we slowly are becoming what Bradbury predicted among other things.

United we stand

Well, I think both Independent and interdependent are both important. You should always be independent and know what your self-worth is. Though, you should always know when you can depend on another. There is no shame on that if anything it is good to realize you need help and have that relationship built with a person already.
